Atomirotta Live suisto Klubi, Hämeenlinna 6.11.2014

Atomirotta shook the grounds of Suisto Klubi on the 6th november last year with a kick ass show and Yours truly surely was there too!

So, Atomirotta, where should we begin. The band is consisted from members from a very different kind of musical careers and that is what makes them pretty unique. A sound without borders, one vision from it's three members gathering all musical influences into this mixture extraordinaire. We've got folk, funk, rap, rock and so on.. On the Album there's such guests as Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa etc....

Better no to go any further on trying to explain this as it wouldn't really be that exact. As one cannot simply explain it. Go see them live and you'll get it.

But in the meantime, here's few snaps from the show at Suisto Klubi. The house was packed, the heat was on. Band was on fire, proud going insane. Just like it should be.

Atomirotta live Suisto Klubi, Hämeenlinna 11.10.2013

Here is another blast from the past. Ladies and Gents, may I present thee the almighty Atomirotta!

All tho they were still Notkea Rotta when this gig occurred, but the music was the same. Anyways, this  was my first ever show with these guys and it was really nice to see them live.

I've listened to Smack when I was a kid and knew Rane from there. Everyone should check them out. It was pretty solid rock n' roll what they did back then. Too bad the singer passed away. Godspeed Claude.

Enough with the past. This funky group is a mixture that there really ain't anyone like them, at least in the Finnish music scene. It's very vital and fresh. If possible, go out and see them play, even buy their stuff so that they can make a living from this and keep this thing going.

Paleface Live Suisto Klubi, Hämeenlinna 17.2.2013

Time to step back in time to the year 2013. 17th of february to be exact. Back the Paleface took the stage of our legendary Suisto Klubi here in Hämeenlinna.

I've know the maestro himself for quite sometime, we go waaaay back to the date before success. And tho we really haven't kept in touch in the middle of all this it was nice to see him live. As i've always been a huge fan of his and admired his intelligence and loyalty on his beliefs. See, I tend to like music which really stands for something. Music that has a meaning. Ya get the idea?

And in time like this, when there is enough of these money hungry "get me everything now" type of artists all around it's really refreshing to see at least few artists with feet on the ground doing music from the right beliefs.
